postpartum nutrition

I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be stepping into motherhood postpartum. You’re healing from delivery, your boobs hurt as your milk comes in, and you’ve got a little one to keep alive, all while hardly getting any sleep.

On top of that, it seems like everyone has an opinion about how you should be handling this time, including the diet industry. There are so many messages out there about bouncing back, how to fit back into your pre-pregnancy jeans, and getting rid of the mom pooch. It’s exhausting.

It is possible to navigate postpartum without letting your own healing and nutrition take a back seat. To nourish your body in a way that will help you recover, increase your energy, and support milk production if that is one of your goals. You have gone through a lot growing and birthing a new life, and nutrition can be a vital support through this time.

 FAQs

  • At this time, I do not take insurance. I am working on getting in network with some insurance providers and hope to be able to take insurance in the near future. In the meantime, I can provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network coverage.

  • I require notification at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time to cancel or reschedule. This is to ensure I have enough time to offer the time slot to other patients that may be waiting for an appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours, you will be charged a non-refundable $50 fee.

  • All of our consults will be virtual and take place via secure video chat. This saves you valuable time driving, finding parking, and allows you flexibility in finding a time to work within your schedule.
